Spring is finally here. Along with its April showers. It's a gloomy morning on the upper west side, and the rain won't stop falling. Starting to get sad about leaving.

After my last night out with coworkers, I felt like crap from my cold, and thought...just one last slice (ok, 2) of New York pizza....so good.

I saw these two 10 year old girls playing on the subway platform...they had switched their boots (who owns moon boots?) and were being totally goofy. They were thrilled when I asked if I could take a picture of their feet.

It was a beautiful day in New York, and on Union Square, a couple of girls set up shop...dispensing advice. Not quite sure if it was real or not (I was scared to see what they would say about my clothes), but it was clever.

I found this dollar bill in my pocket today and was super excited....

This bill has been marked as part of a bill tracking project. I had to register it online and was able to see where it had been before falling in my hands. And now I get to keep track of where it goes from here! Very good idea, very fun.

This W.Village fence got decorated after 9/11 with tiles painted by little kids. It's one of those not-creepy memorials that gets better with age, even as the colors fade.

I kept seeing these shoes at jcrew...and it seems no one wants them...but I do. So I got them.
